Make sure your family is taken care of no matter what the future holds with Life Insurance from Unum. If you pass away, this coverage can help your family cover expenses (i.e., funeral costs, day-to-day expenses, and bills). Martin’s Point provides Basic Life and AD&D Insurance coverage equal to one times your annual salary up to a $200,000 maximum. You are automatically enrolled and will be prompted to list a beneficiary at enrollment.

You never expect to be in a position where you can’t work, but something as simple as a back injury or maternity leave could mean time off of work without pay. Fortunately, Martin’s Point provides you with Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance to help replace a portion of your paycheck – you can think of it as income protection. Short Term Disability (STD) provides you with 85% of your biweekly earnings after 5 consecutive workdays of non-work-related disability for up to 90 days. After 90 days of non-work-related disability, Long Term Disability (LTD) provides 66.67% of your monthly earnings to a $10,000 maximum if you qualify for benefits.

Term Life Insurance provides affordable protection for a specific period of time, usually during your working years. In some cases, coverage can be extended past your original term. Most often Term Life is purchased during your working years, so if you die, your death benefit can help loved ones manage their financial needs.

You may elect Additional Life Insurance for you, your spouse and/or your children at your own cost:

• Employee: Increments of $10,000 to the lesser of 5x annual earnings or $500,000
• Spouse: Increments of $5,000 to the lesser of 100% of employee additional life election
• Child(ren) up to age 26: < 6 months of age $1,000; > 6 months of age increments of $2,000 to the lesser of 100% of employee coverage of $10,000
